Rathnan Prapancha Movie Review 2021

Hello Users, this is a movie review based on my movie knowledge. I’m not a movie critic, I’m a movie lover & I’m writing to share my view on the movie – Rathnan Prapancha

Movie Synopsis: An emotional warmth of Mother and Son relationship.

Rathnakara aka Dhananjaya most of the Telugu audience known as Jolly Reddy in the movie Pushpa.

Plot:

Rathnakara is a middle-class guy in his late twenties working as an insurance agent and his mother Saroja aka Umashree who is hot-headed, hilarious, and possessive. They both show their affection through anger. One day Rathnakara requests a newspaper agent to advertise for his missing dog. Later he receives a phone call from journalist Mayuri(Reba Monica John) that turns his life upside down.

An uncomfortable truth which he heard leads him to go a trail to find his world. What happens to Rathnakara’s life then, and how Tabassum, Udaal Babu Rao, and Yellava are connected to his life. Does he reach his eventual destination and get back in terms of relationship will be the rest of the crux of the story.

Rathnan Prapancha Movie Review:

Dhananjaya and Umashree gave their best in their roles. They both get into verbal quarrels like Tom and Jerry, underline we feel the warmth of the Mother and Son relationship. It’s one of the melodramatic movies that make us cry in some scenes if we find/lost someone in our life.

This film breaks the pattern of making a family drama movie with 4 songs, 4 fights, a love story, and a grand ending.

Rathnan Prapancha Movie Highlights:

01. Kashmir episode is a visual treat and kudos to Cinematographer(Shreesha Kuduvali) because those scenes make us feel the same emotion if we were there in Kashmir.

02. The transgender scene is emotional and the director has the courage to keep such scenes.

03. Interval twist will surprise us to watch the second half.

04. Climax turns likes to learn the value of relationships in a harder way.

Finally, this film is a journey of finding out(discover/rediscover) about life and makes us believe in “Your loved ones are those who care and be with you forever.”

And I’ll end my review with a point that Rohit Padaki tells as bottom line “Live in the present, walk with it. Of course, look into the past too, but hold hands with what you have.”
